FNB Bank History...
1896: Sherman County Bank failed and was reopened as the Goodland City Bank on the corner of 11th and Main in Goodland, KS
1901: Goodland City Bank was converted into a National Bank and was chartered as the First National Bank of Goodland
1904: The First National Bank of Goodland was sold to investors from Norton
1927: The Farmers National Bank merged with First National Bank of Goodland
1934: The First National Bank of Kanorado merged with the First National Bank of Goodland
1965: A new location was established on the corner of 11th and Broadway in Goodland
1994: The First National Bank of Goodland merged with the Cheyenne County State Bank of St. Francis. This established a branch location in St, Francis, KS
1996: First National Bank of Goodland celebrated it's 100th Anniversary
2000: A charter was established in Colorado when the First National Bank of Goodland merged with the Kirk State Bank in Kirk, CO
2001: First National Bank of Goodland purchased the Oberlin, KS branch of Commercial Federal
2005: A location was established in Bennett, CO under the name Colorado First National Bank
2018: The name of FNB Bank was adopted due to the bank moving from a National Charter to a State Charter
2021: A new building was constructed in Bennett to accommodate the growing branch location
Today: FNB Bank proudly serves members of the Goodland, St. Francis, Oberlin, Kirk and Bennett communities
